I had my second appointment with the hematologist yesterday. Everything is fine, except for my iron and B12 levels. The levels are getting better slowly and once the baby is born they should be fine.
I'm taking extra iron in the morning and started using a cast iron pan for cooking. I make homemade pasta sauce once a week and supposedly the tomatoes react with the pan and helps increase my iron intake.
My baby is due in November, my sister in law is due to have a boy in February and I just found out my cousin in Virginia is going to have a baby in April. So many babies are coming to the family!

I finally remembered to check Xanga! Supposedly, at least some iron can leach into everything you cook in those cast iron pans, even if it's not a food that reacts to it like tomatoes.
If you can boil your tea in it, that might help too...oops, forgot to set my tea timer. Gotta go take the tea bag out!
November ? Celeste ! It is in a month or so .
How are you ?
